Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei Calls on Muslim World to Unite and Build a Stronger Front Against the US and Israel

Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei has called on the Muslim world to remain united and build a stronger position against the United States and Israel, saying divisions among Muslims serve the interests of their adversaries.

In a message marking Islamic Unity Week and the birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far al-Sadiq (AS), Khamenei said one of the main objectives of the enemies of Islam is to magnify differences among Muslims in order to weaken the Islamic community and establish dominance over it.

Khamenei said Muslims have an opportunity to play a decisive and historic role in the present era. However, he emphasized that Muslim unity is the first and most important condition for achieving that goal. He described Muslim unity as a Quranic principle and a fundamental teaching of Islam.

Warning against actions that create divisions among Muslims, Khamenei said anyone who contributes to discord—whether knowingly or unknowingly, intentionally or unintentionally—ultimately serves the interests of what he described as the enemies of Islam.

He urged the leaders of Islamic countries, particularly those in West Asia and the Persian Gulf, to identify what he called their “real enemy,” understand its plans and confront them.

Khamenei accused the United States and Israel of being enemies of Islamic unity. He said, according to his assessment, their hostility extends beyond Iran and the Islamic Resistance Front to the wider Muslim world, including the peoples of West Asia and North Africa.

He further said Muslim unity should not be limited to political solidarity. It should also include cooperation in areas such as security, science, economic resources and development. According to Khamenei, such cooperation could ultimately contribute to the emergence of a new Islamic civilization.

Khamenei also claimed that Muslim unity has been achieved in Iran to an acceptable degree and urged the Iranian people to prevent any form of internal division.
