“We Know What Kind of Military Preparations Iran Is Making; They Can’t Even Go to the Bathroom Without Us Knowing” — US President Donald Trump

— Global Journal | Washington, United States | September 3, 2026

Amid escalating tensions between the United States and Iran in West Asia, US President Donald Trump has claimed that Washington’s intelligence surveillance of Iran is so extensive that none of Tehran’s military preparations can escape US detection. He also said that the United States is ready to strike Iran again at any time if it chooses to do so.

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office, Trump claimed that Iran had been attempting to develop a rocket system capable of deploying mines in the Strait of Hormuz. He said US forces had destroyed the system.

Claim of Destroying Military Equipment Near the Strait of Hormuz

Trump said the United States had destroyed all of the new military equipment Iran had been attempting to build along the Strait of Hormuz. According to him, some of the equipment was defensive while other equipment was offensive.

He also said Iran had been attempting to rebuild its radar systems and missile capabilities, while the United States was closely monitoring those efforts.

“They Can’t Even Go to the Bathroom Without Us Knowing”

Speaking about Iran’s efforts to rebuild its military capabilities, Trump said, “We saw that they were building it. We see everything they’re doing. They can’t go to the bathroom without us seeing it.” His remarks were intended to emphasize the extent of US intelligence surveillance over Iran.

Trump Warns of Further Strikes on Iran

Regarding the US strikes carried out on Monday night, Trump described them as a “very heavy attack” and said Washington was prepared to launch further strikes at any time. He claimed that the operation targeted not only Iranian radar systems but also other military capabilities.

Earlier, in comments to Fox News, Trump warned that Iran could be “totally wiped out” if it retaliated against the United States, adding that Tehran would face an even stronger military response.

Trump’s Remarks on the US Strike on Larak Island

Amid the latest escalation, the US Central Command (CENTCOM) said it had destroyed two rocket launchers on Iran’s Larak Island. Washington claimed that Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) had been preparing to launch attacks toward the Strait of Hormuz. Iran subsequently launched a retaliatory response, according to US and international reports.

The rising military tensions around the Strait of Hormuz have increased concerns over the security of one of the world’s most important energy shipping routes, as well as potential disruptions to global oil supplies.
