Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul Accuses President Trump of Rape in 1993 According to Report on Epstein Connections

Washington, United States | October 27, 2026 | The Global Journal

According to a report by The Telegraph, former model and former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul has accused US President Donald Trump of raping her in 1993 at New York’s Plaza Hotel during an event related to a beauty pageant. Her allegations were reportedly included in a report published by Democratic members of the US House of Representatives examining Trump’s relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and allegations of sexual abuse.

The report does not establish that Keul’s allegations have been independently proven. The White House has rejected the accusations, describing them as politically motivated.

Allegations Concerning the 1993 Incident

According to the report, Keul told Democratic staff members of the House Judiciary Committee that she met Trump in November 1993, when she was 24, at a press conference for a beauty pageant at the Plaza Hotel in New York.

Keul alleges that Trump offered to help her obtain a US visa and secure admission to New York University.

According to her account, she also met Jeffrey Epstein around that time. The report says Epstein introduced himself as a close friend of Trump and invited her to an event at Mar-a-Lago.

Keul alleges that, on a subsequent occasion, she went to a hotel suite at the invitation of one of Trump’s representatives, where Trump raped her. She further claims that Trump told her to keep the incident secret and again offered assistance with her visa and university admission.

These statements are presented as allegations attributed to Keul. No final court ruling on the specific allegation is cited in the report.

Differences Between Her Earlier and More Recent Accounts

In October 2024, Keul told the Daily Mail that Trump had engaged in unwanted sexual behaviour toward her at the Plaza Hotel in 1993. Her account at the time included allegations that he kissed her, attempted to lift her clothing and touched her body. She said the incident did not go further.

The new report contains a more serious allegation concerning the same incident. It highlights the difference between her earlier account and the more recent claims, but does not provide a clear explanation for the additional details.

Democrats’ Report Examines Trump’s Connections to Epstein

The report goes beyond Keul’s allegations. According to the account, a report released by Jamie Raskin, the senior Democratic member of the House Judiciary Committee, reviews statements from multiple women and related documents.

The report alleges that five women have accused Trump of rape or sexual abuse. Statements from other individuals reportedly describe attempts by Epstein or his associate Ghislaine Maxwell to bring women into contact with Trump.

The report also examines aspects of New York’s modelling industry in the 1990s, beauty pageants and the social connections between Trump and Epstein. Democratic lawmakers have called for a full investigation into the allegations.

However, the information presented does not establish that all the allegations in the report have been independently verified.

White House Rejects the Allegations

The White House has rejected the allegations against Trump. According to a statement attributed to a presidential spokesperson, the report represents a politically motivated effort by Democrats to divert public attention from Trump’s achievements.

The spokesperson also claimed that Trump had expelled Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club. Trump has previously maintained that their friendship ended before Epstein’s criminal conduct became a subject of suspicion.

The report does not cite a final court ruling on Keul’s specific allegation or the findings of an independent investigation establishing its validity.

New Political Controversy Ahead of the Midterm Elections

The publication of the report concerning Epstein-related records and Trump’s past associations could intensify political debate in the United States ahead of the midterm elections. Democratic lawmakers are calling for a full investigation, while the White House characterises the report as politically motivated.

Independent scrutiny, relevant documentation and verifiable evidence will be important in assessing Keul’s allegations. It is also essential to distinguish between allegations, political statements and facts established through legal proceedings.
