Saudi airport employee Sultan Al-Qahtani lost his life while helping protect others during a fire at King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia. According to a report by Gulf News, he suffered from smoke inhalation while helping extinguish the fire to protect passengers and prevent the flames from spreading. He was rushed to hospital but later died.

According to the report, a fire broke out near a departure gate at the airport on October 21. Fearing that the flames could spread further and endanger passengers and airport personnel, Sultan and his colleagues rushed to the scene to tackle the blaze.

According to the report, Sultan’s father paid tribute to his son, saying that he had lost his life while serving his country and helping others.

Sultan’s actions, in which he put the safety of others before his own during an emergency, have drawn attention in Saudi Arabia. His death while carrying out his duties is being remembered as an example of courage and dedication.

Details of the Attack
