‘The United States Can Completely Disable Iran at Any Time’—President Trump Warns at Kansas Campaign Rally
Salina, Kansas, United States | November 3, 2026 | The Global Journal
US President Donald Trump has claimed that the United States has the capability to completely disable Iran at any time. According to him, Washington has already established dominance over Tehran and could bring the country’s operations to a standstill whenever it chooses.
Trump made these remarks during his 30th and final campaign rally ahead of the US midterm elections in Salina, Kansas. According to Al Jazeera, he told the gathering, “We have dominance over Iran. We can disable them at any time we want.”
Trump further said that the United States was trying to resolve the situation, but suggested that diplomatic efforts might not always be sufficient. He stated, “We are trying to resolve this properly. Sometimes it cannot continue this way. We are trying to be a little flexible. But I think the situation is very close. We will completely disable them. That will bring an end to everything.”

‘The War Is Not Over Yet’—Trump Says in Iowa
Meanwhile, addressing Republican supporters at a campaign rally in Iowa, Trump said that the US war against Iran was not yet over. However, he claimed that he wanted to avoid as many casualties as possible.
“I want to be good and try to save as many lives as possible,” Trump said.
At the same time, he issued a stern warning, saying, “But there will come a time when we will have to hit them hard.”
Trump also reiterated his claim that the United States had completely destroyed Iran’s nuclear uranium enrichment capabilities. He expressed hope that the war would end soon.
Trump Also Addresses Rising Fuel Prices
During his campaign remarks, Trump also addressed rising fuel prices in the United States. He argued that higher petrol prices were a relatively small price to pay for the country's security. However, he expressed optimism that fuel prices would fall significantly in the near future.
Trump’s remarks come amid the ongoing conflict involving Iran, once again drawing attention to tensions between Tehran and Washington. His simultaneous emphasis on seeking a negotiated solution and warning that the United States could disable Iran has raised further questions about Washington’s approach to the conflict.
